The customer’s brief was to replace the existing adjoining fence that was covered in ivy with a featheredge fence which was strong enough to have a decorative fence added to it to create a light and pleasant backdrop for a porcelain patio and gazebo.
The original fence had a chain link fence behind it which would also have to be removed to allow the new fence to be put on the boundary line and allow as much room as possible. The customer had ordered a very large gazebo which would require every inch of space allowable. The new patio would also require new steps to be created down to the lawned area using the same porcelain as the existing steps were a safety hazard (too small in width and too steep).
The adjoining fence was created in featheredge but with concrete spurs in each post providing longevity. The slatted decorative fence from Linnell Bros, Silverstone was then added.
The patio and steps were created using Marshalls Symphony Classic Arrento Cream Porcelain which would lift the area, and we also took the patio along the side entrance of the property so that visitors would get the full effect on entering the garden.
The gazebo was erected and the full effect was stunning.
