A local parish council required a new 40-metre chain link fence to create a solid barrier between a recreational park and a brook/watercourse for health and safety reasons.
The chain link fence required a gate to allow access for Anglian Water as there is a storm drain within the fenced off area.
The project involved cutting back overgrown trees and shrubs to allow us access to the area ready to erect the fence. Erection of the 4ft high 40 metre fence which included the gate and also a right-angled turn to join up with an existing wooden fence. Issues which occurred were positioning of the posts due to large tree roots, the contour of the land not being extremely even and the avoidance of trees within the run of the fence line.
